STUDIO POLICIES

At Fit Journey, we are committed to consistency, transparency and fair-dealings with our students, clients and visitors.

  1. PURCHASES
    Students may conduct any purchase transactions at the studio, or, become a member on our website in order to make online purchases and register in advance for classes, workshops, events & retreats. You can also track your visits, purchases and update your profile at any time, at fitjourney.ca .
    All purchases are in Canadian dollars, and are subject to HST.
  2. WAIVER
    All students attending Fit Journey classes or events must first complete a Health Waiver Form, stating that he/she takes full responsibility for participation. Signing this waiver releases Fit Journey, it’s owner, teachers, and facilities from any and all liability regarding any injury to self, and from any loss or damage to personal property. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  3. REFUNDS
    We regret there can be no refunds of moneys paid for classes (whether fitness, meditation or yoga). We do allow a transfer of said funds to another program at Fit Journey within the expiry date of the purchase, and in special cases, we may allow transfer of funds to another member of your family, with your written request.
  4. MAKE-UP CLASSES
    If you miss a class in a multiple-class series (such as a 5-class yoga series, or 8-week Cross Train or Boxing series), you may make it up at a similar class (different day/time) as long as the make-up is done before the end of the series. You must check space availability for your make-up choice. We cannot carry over un-used classes to the next series. You may choose to take a different class format for your make-up (ie substitute a yoga class for a Cross Train class) if this suits your schedule better.
  5. CANCELLATIONS
    We require 24-hour notice of cancellation of any private appointment (yoga therapy, training, etc). If less than 24 hours of notice, you will be charged for said appointment.
  6. EXPIRY DATES
    Class series programs have a set completion and expiry date. Yoga class cards also have expiry dates:
    5-Class and 10-Class Cards expire in 6 months from date of purchase.
    20-Class Cards expire in 9 months from date of purchase.
  7. PRIVACY
    We respect your privacy both in the studio, on our website, and with our social media communications. We do not share your information with any other party, and are in full compliance with SSL standards for protection of credit card details.
